I thought about going, to Chick-Fil-A for lunch today, As a protest against heavy handed censorious mayors Menino and Rahm. Some seem to using the event as a statement against gay people and them getting married. While it’s not an issue I haven’t spent much thought or energy about, I don’t really care if gays get married.
What it really comes down to though is:
- I don’t particularly like their sandwiches and I think they are over priced.
- The Baytown store is over crowded and the store is poorly equiped to handle the normal lunchtime crowd. It will be a zoo today.
- While I find government attempts at censorship detestable. I don’t really want to be associated with the anti-choice , or gay bashing people that this event seems to be focusing on.
- The sandwiches are really off my my diet.
