Republicans Building A Dynasty

Earlier this year the census was was taken. Its primary purpose was to determine how we going to be represented in Congress, and in the electoral college for our Presidential election. Our population is shifting from the states in the North to the Red States to the South, along with the population the political power of the nation shifts from the Rust Belt to the South.

The biggest gainer will be Texas, a GOP-dominated state expected to gain up to four new House seats, for a total of 36. The chief losers – New York and Ohio, each projected by nongovernment analysts to lose two seats – were carried by Obama in 2008 and are typical of states in the Northeast and Midwest that are declining in political influence.

We won’t know what the real numbers until Tuesday, but its looking pretty grim for the neartime future of Democrat party.
