Three people came up to me today and thanked me for my service in the Army today. Sweet! No one ever thanked me on Veterans day in the 70s. nor the 80s, not until last year when Elizibeth and ruok, my sis in-law, thanked me. My service was modest my war was the cold war. But I appreciate the thanks these folks gave me because it tells me they apreciate those who sacrificed far more than than I had.
Thank You, Veterans, Your sacrifices are what has made us a great nation.
